³Ô¹ÏÍø Academy of Music and Arts offers a variety of engaging group music programs and camps for all ages. Playing music with a group allows musicians to develop listening skills, balance, intonation, rhythm, and non-verbal communication. Furthermore, the pressure of playing and performing solo is alleviated and being a part of a ‘team’ is a very motivating experience. Become part of a community with one of our group music programs. We have something for everyone!
Our Early Childhood Music programs start from as young as 6 months to 7 years of age. Early Childhood Music classes are a great introduction to music in a group setting. Children are grouped in classes according to age so they can socialize and make music with peers.
We have a variety of options for Early Childhood Music education, including Music with your Baby/Toddler, Music with your Child, a dalcroze-based class, and a Mandarin-speaking class.
Our children and teen group classes are musically educational and engaging. We explore areas such as video game music, rock and blues, broadway/theatre, improvisation, percussion, and singing. Learning and making music with a group allows for collaboration with peers, engagement in active listening, and development of overall musicianship in a group setting.
All group classes will have the opportunity to participate in a final performance at the end of the session.
If you are an adult looking to make connections with other musicians, build confidence in your musicality, and learn new musical concepts and skills, our group classes for adults are perfect for you! Whether you are a complete beginner or more advanced musician, or you’ve taken a long break from your instrument and want to pick it up again, we have a variety of classes for all experience levels and instruments. Programs include an Early Music Consort, fiddle jams, jazz ensemble, group singing, and more!
³Ô¹ÏÍø Academy of Music and Arts offers group instruction in music theory. Group classes run in the fall and winter based on interest and level. Theory classes will prepare students for RCM-based examinations. Group classes may be held in-person, online, or hybrid at the discretion of the instructor. For private theory lessons, please contact the school directly.
Danielle Beck is our theory instructor.
The ³Ô¹ÏÍø Academy of Music and Arts offers camps for children and teens over and summer!
Our camps are educational, engaging, confidence-building, and fun! Our instructors have experience in adapting curriculum to suit the needs of each group, and give all students one-on-one time when they need it.
For larger groups, we have one to two instructors and at least two to three volunteers, so you can rest assured that your child is in good hands.
"The camps at the ³Ô¹ÏÍø Academy of Music and Arts have been excellent experiences for my family. My child has enjoyed the combination of morning Artshine programs with afternoon music camps for two years now. The themes are fun and the activities well suited for a variety of ages. Full day drama camp has also been a wonderful new adventure for my kid. My second child is looking forward to joining their sibling in the 2025 season where they can each attend camps for their own age groups at the same location. Can’t wait for a summer of art, music, and fun!" - Nicole, parent of camper
"I just wanted to reach out to share how much my child loved Music Mania camp this week. It was such a joy to witness his joy as he experienced music camp for the first time." - Rachel, parent of camper
"Our daughter had an amazing experience at the music camp. The camp instructors/leaders created a fun and welcoming environment for the campers, and our daughter looked forward to attending camp each day. It was a great introduction to music and encouraged her to continue with music lessons during the school year, Our daughter really enjoyed getting to perform at the end of the week, and we enjoyed getting to see her and the other campers perform." –Trish N., Parent of Camper
