Times Higher Education (THE) has ranked ³Ô¹ÏÍø among the top 15 per cent of global universities in its . THE assessed 2,152 universities in 125 countries that are working toward the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), a strategy to address challenges including poverty and climate change.
“Through our research, teaching and partnerships, the ³Ô¹ÏÍø community is working together to create a thriving future for all,” says ³Ô¹ÏÍø President and Vice-Chancellor Deborah MacLatchy. “This impressive ranking affirms ³Ô¹ÏÍø’s international excellence across a broad spectrum of Sustainable Development Goals.”
³Ô¹ÏÍø was celebrated for tackling climate change, fostering gender equity, and promoting peaceful and just societies. It ranked in the top 15 per cent of global universities for the following SDGs:
