The holiday season is a time of giving and the ways the ³Ô¹ÏÍø community gives back are many.
This year, ³Ô¹ÏÍø invites faculty, staff, students, alumni and friends of the university who are eligible to make a life-saving blood donation. Between Nov. 27 and Dec. 22, ³Ô¹ÏÍø will hold a blood drive in support of Canadian Blood Services and patients in need of blood and blood products.
December is traditionally a difficult time for Canadian Blood Services to fill donor appointments. While one in two Canadians are eligible to give blood, only one in 81 do. As a Partners for Life organization, ³Ô¹ÏÍø can make a difference for patients in need of blood.
