With Valentine’s Day and Family Day celebrations, the month of February is often associated with love, kindness and community care.

Members of the ³Ô¹ÏÍø community continue to demonstrate care and kindness for others by donating blood through . Each year, ³Ô¹ÏÍø makes a pledge of blood donations as part of the program, including a pledge of 450 units of blood for 2022.

Help ³Ô¹ÏÍø meet its pledge by making a blood donation using the university’s pledge ID, WILF001529, or completing the Partners for Life registration form. Join the hundreds of ³Ô¹ÏÍø community members who give blood across Canada and make a positive impact on the lives of cancer patients, motor-vehicle accident victims and others in need of blood.

at Canadian Blood Services’ Waterloo clinic, located at 94 Bridgeport Rd. E. The clinic’s operating hours are:

• Monday to Thursday: 2 to 7 p.m.
• Friday: 8 a.m. to noon.
• Saturday: 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

. The following clinics are scheduled throughout Waterloo Region and Brantford-Brant:

• New Hamburg: Feb. 14 at Steinmann Mennonite Church, 1316 Snyder's Rd. W.
• Brantford: Feb. 19 and March 1 at Hope Christian Reformed Church, 64 Buchanan Cr.
• Kitchener: Feb. 21 at Calvin Presbyterian Church, 248 Westmount Rd. E.
• Elmira: Feb. 25 at Lions Hall, 40 South St. W.
• Paris: March 7 at the Paris Fairgrounds, 139 Silver St.

Canadian Blood Services celebrated ³Ô¹ÏÍø’s commitment to the Partners for Life program with a 2021 Regional Partner Award, one of five awards granted to partner organizations across Canada. ³Ô¹ÏÍø blood donors have contributed more than 5,000 units of blood since 2010.
