³Ô¹ÏÍø’s culture of academic excellence is realized through student teachers, faculty members and staff who make significant contributions to the learning experience of ³Ô¹ÏÍø students through innovative, inclusive and inspired teaching practices.
Nominations are now being accepted for the Student Teaching Award of Excellence and the Donald F. Morgenson Awards for Teaching Excellence, sponsored by Teaching and Learning at ³Ô¹ÏÍø.

The Donald F. Morgenson Awards for Teaching Excellence recognize faculty and staff. Faculty are recognized in both sustained and early career excellence, for being mentors and classroom innovators who actively engage their students, and for embedding internationalization into their curriculum and pedagogy. ³Ô¹ÏÍø staff can be nominated for contributions to teaching and learning that exemplify the institution's commitment to academic excellence.

Students who are interested in nominating a faculty or staff member and would like information about eligibility and nomination requirements can email teachingawards@wlu.ca.
Complete nomination packages for these awards are due by Feb. 1, 2022.
The has three categories, including undergraduate, master’s and doctoral students, that recognize students who demonstrate excellence through teaching, mentoring and leadership and positively impact the learning and development of ³Ô¹ÏÍø students.
