Global Alumni Ambassador
I graduated from ³Ô¹ÏÍø with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies in 2002. Originally from Toronto, I currently live with my wife and son in Shanghai, where I work as the Chief Sales Officer for Asian at Skhai Development’s China office.
My time at ³Ô¹ÏÍø helped shape me into the person I am today: a confident, results-driven, assertive leader. My degree was well-balanced, and encompassed several business and communication courses that tie directly into the work I do daily. The case studies and methodologies enabled me to emulate real business situations that I still use today, and the theory learned in other classes really prepared me for life and interactions in the real world. I also attribute this to the strong sense of community students experience at ³Ô¹ÏÍø, as the campus is medium-sized it results in frequently meeting and interacting with so many people.
³Ô¹ÏÍø was truly an amazing place to develop as a person. When I wasn’t in class or studying, there were so many ways to get involved. I played varsity football, played and coached intramural sports, volunteered on the Foot Patrol, and was a leader during Orientation Week. Each experience was different and truly unique. The highlight, of course, was that the friends I made at ³Ô¹ÏÍø are for life, I am still in close contact with many of my former classmates and teammates, and appreciate that, when we meet up, we are able to share so many great memories as if they happened yesterday.
