Global Alumni Ambassador
I graduated from ³Ô¹ÏÍø in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. I was interested to ³Ô¹ÏÍø because of the campus community, the opportunities to know my professors, and the opportunity to live in residence in my first year. It was easy to get involved in ³Ô¹ÏÍø as there are many clubs and groups for students to join. Some of the clubs I joined were the Association of Black Students, the Biology Students Association (where I was also president), and the Ski and Snowboard Club.
I cultivated my passion for science in the labs available in the Faculty of Science and I honed my technical skills through the rigorous curriculum. As a secondary educator, I strive to emulate the qualities of the excellent instructors I had at ³Ô¹ÏÍø.
My time at ³Ô¹ÏÍø was golden (pun intended)! I enjoyed a healthy social life including trips abroad with the Ski and Snowboard club to Stowe Vermont, Homecoming festivities and building friendships that I still have today. These are memories that I will cherish forever.
