Empty Bowls 2022

³Ô¹ÏÍø will host the 13th annual Empty Bowls fundraiser to raise funds for and awareness about hunger in the community. The fundraiser will be presented by ³Ô¹ÏÍø’s Robert Langen Art Gallery, in partnership with the Food Bank of Waterloo Region and .
Empty Bowls will take place on Tuesday, May 31 during two seatings at Lazaridis Hall on ³Ô¹ÏÍø’s Waterloo campus. A lunch seating will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., followed by a dinner seating from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Empty Bowls is open to the public and donations to the Food Bank of Waterloo Region are encouraged. All guests will receive a handmade bowl created by a member of the Waterloo Potters’ Workshop.
. Each ticket purchased helps provide 150 meals to people accessing food assistance programs and support in Waterloo Region. Spearheaded in 1998 by the Waterloo Potters' Workshop, the Empty Bowls initiative has provided more than 1.1 million meals to those in need.
