I received my PhD in philosophy from the University of Alberta in 1997 and my MA and BA (Hon) in Philosophy from the University of Western Ontario in 1990 and 1991, respectively.
Prior to joining ³Ô¹ÏÍø, I was the Director of Integrative Programs and the Core Curriculum at Nazareth College in Rochester, NY and a professor in the philosophy department.
My current scholarship is focused on Aristotle's ethics and politics. One project is to explore his views on artisans and wage-earners and what taking a wage means for one's ties to family and city unit. A second project involves exploring Aristotle's views on techne, creativity and judgement (individual and collective) as background to a larger study of ethical deliberation in design and planning.
