I received a Master of Education in Educational Administration from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto, a Bachelor of Education from the University of Toronto and an Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Guelph.
I taught for 20 years, at the elementary and high school level, including time as a special education resource teacher. I was a school administrator for 16 years, retiring as a school principal.
Currently, I am a school board trustee with the Wellington Catholic DSB.
I continue to find ways to establish community partnerships as a field supervisor with the Faculty of Education and have taught as a part-time faculty member for the last seven years.
As the co-founder of Project Haiti, in Guelph, my interest and focus for many years has been to provide funds for Hope Hospital for Children in Port-au-Prince and assist children living in Haitian orphanages and attending elementary school.
